Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By registering interest for, attending or sponsoring the Halal Finance Summit ("Summit"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. The Summit is organized by UMMAH1 in Toronto, Canada.

2. Registration of interest

Registering interest does not guarantee a seat. Tickets are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke registrations that violate our code of conduct or these terms.

3. Code of conduct

We are committed to a respectful, inclusive, faith-aligned environment. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech or proselytizing against attendees of other faiths will result in removal without refund.

4. Content & intellectual property

All Summit content (speaker materials, recordings, branding) is the property of UMMAH1 or its licensors. Personal note-taking is fine; commercial redistribution requires written consent.

5. Photography & recording

The Summit is photographed and recorded. By attending, you consent to your image being used in promotional material. Notify the organizers in writing in advance if you wish to opt out.

6. Sponsorships

Sponsorship commitments are confirmed only upon signed agreement and receipt of funds. Refund terms are set in the sponsorship agreement.

7. Cancellation & force majeure

If the Summit is cancelled or postponed due to events beyond our control (pandemic, natural disaster, government order), we will reschedule or refund paid tickets at our discretion. We are not liable for travel or accommodation costs.

8. Limitation of liability

The Summit, its organizers and sponsors are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant ticket. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Compliance

Our marketing communications comply with CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), GDPR (EU/UK) and local SMS regulations. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your personal data and consent records.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
